Due to RL changes in my life I'm in the middle of a cat crisis emergency, four cats are way too many, something is going to snap soon if something isn't done. Unfortunately this means I'm looking for a new home for my cats, Bayboo and Espresso. I figured I'd post here just incase somebody is looking for a cat or knows somebody before I resort to the animal shelter.
Here's a short summary of each cat with outdated pictures. (better pictures will follow later)
Bayboo:
![]()
Long haired, black/gray kitty, four years old, unknown breed as she was a rescue kitten from a parking lot!
Likes laps, jingle balls, investigating boxes, high spots and hair ties. Also very cuddly.
Uses a scratching post, been indoor her whole life, uses litter box properly, stretches on furniture but doesn't really dig on them. Small hairballs every now and then depending on season change. Doesn't really talk unless she wants attention. Responds to name. Will attack if angered. My favorite kitty :ssh:
Espresso:
![]()
Short haired tortie. Four years old, another rescue kitten.
Likes food. Vocal, passive cat. Doesn't claw or bite unless really angry. Besides that, she can be randomly emo, but doesn't do anything about it except whine. Uses litter box properly. Stretches on furniture, doesn't really dig, uses scratching post sometimes, likes a floor cardboard scratcher better. Randomly likes the lap, likes sleeping with you in the bed more. Can not have anything dairy related or her digestive system says no.
Neither cat has been to the vet in years but they're healthy otherwise.
They still have all claws intact so they could be outdoor cats as well, however Espresso is deathly afraid of the outdoors. :p
So here's the deal, I will drive these cats up to seven hours away from Farmington, NM which includes large parts of Colorado (Denver), Utah (Salt Lake City), Arizona (Phoenix) and New Mexico. Slightly longer distances could be negotiated.
They can be also flown anywhere in the country for roughly $300 a cat wherever United flies. If someone really wants one of these kitties and you're outside of driving range, I ask for some sort of split on the flying cost. I'll cover the vet visit needed for the health certificate.
If possible I'd love them to stay together, they've been "sisters" since a month old, but I know that is unlikely.
If you have any questions about them let me know or PM me!
