Ok, so I know that there's a thread floating about on here that discuses the topics surrounding the basis of this one, but it doesn't really answer my questions, in fact it leaves me with more.
I've been in a long search trying to find out exactly WHEN and HOW does the Giant Crossbow surpass the Elven for damage. I play on a server with max base level 175 and job 60, so obtaining max ASPD with Elven without Beholder Master cards or any AGI gear is fairly easy. Currently I am rockin a +8 King-bird Elven with the standard Mora equipment and thimble, sniper goggles with a dolomedes card. I have easy access to excessive amounts of endowments/converters and Aspersio/buffs from AB's
I've been hearing that the Giant Crossbow can become better than the Elven at even +3 refine solely due to the fact of the double slots, but I have NO CLUE HOW it's possible, I would love for someone to explain in depth to me if this is possible, meaning what cards, how good my mora should be, are my equips wrong in general etc etc. MY main function for my character is MVP'ing and farming places like Thor 3 and Bio lab mobs.
I'd like to reiterate the fact that I have no issues using endows/converts/blessings to change elements on my Elven arrows, the only time I lose any damage from properties, is when I need to use Immaterial. From my own research, the consensus seems to be that as long as you have the proper situations, the GXB doesn't surpass the Elven until around the +9 refine range.
I would very much appreciate it if someone could fill me in on the details and correct my misunderstanding.
