Knight: brandish weapon for killing petitis

So i have restarted ro after a.long time and i dont jave a jang of how thing work in renewal. I was wondering which would be the best spear weapon to kill petits wid brandish spear (yes i am aware of the fact that bb is better but im a brandish loyalist) since crads and weapons dont work the way they used to pre renewal.

And one more thing if pikes arnt usefull as they used to be y are they still expensive any specific reason?
