Questions from an old player

1) There's 2 clients, classic and renewal right.
Both classic and renewal list 2 servers (Chaos and Classic.Loki).

Now, regardless of both clients listing both servers is each to it's own? Meaning, Chaos only works in Renewal and Loki is for classic? I've never been able to log into loki through renewal client.

Or is it, Chaos is the only working server for renewal whereas the classic client has both chaos and loki?

2) The Eden Project, is this available on both Classic and Renewal or only renewal? I've noticed Eden related NPCs on Classic but the NPC that takes you to headquarters, namely the novices marked with z yellow x on map are not present in classic?

If you cant do Eden project quests in classic, what is the Eden project npc on classic for?

3) What does VIP mean on a character in character select mode?
